Homily in Clonmacnoise — Sending Forth Julia into Mission Ministry in Germany

In its heyday, Clonmacnoise was a place of mission and missionary sending. It is an even greater joy that this evening, amidst the ruins during the annual Eucharist, Julia — whom I met at a Light-Life Movement oasis retreat many years ago — will receive her missionary sending to Germany. I would never have guessed that years later, things would come together in such an event.
